I hope I can afford one of these soon. The only thing I really want Apple to do is make multiple user logins available so a family can have one iPad and not one for each family member. I am still having a battle between the iPad Mini and the new iPad Air on which one I should buy.
Here is my plan. Buy and iPad Mini for my wife at least a 64gb and then later when we can afford it, I would like to but the iPad Air 128gb. Very expensive indeed. I noticed that we normally buy a refurbished one through Apple and it saves us a bunch of money. We may decide to get a cheap iPad 2 or something for now just to satisfy my desire for a tablet. Then later we can save up and buy one that will last longer and have enough space for what we need.
On the two devices that my wife and I already have (iPod Touch 4th Gen and iPhone 4s), we both have 64gb. So to go less than that would be kind of difficult for us since we both fill them up easily with over 54gbs of videos. (Sign Language Videos)
As of today 11/18/13 the price for the iPad Air (128gb Wifi Only) is $799. The iPad Mini (64gb Wifi Only) is $599. These things keep getting more and more expensive. I could also just buy a refurbished iPad 2 (64gb Wifi Only) for $499 or even the iPad Mini (64gb Wifi Only) for $419. I can also try to buy an iPad Mini (64gb Wifi) on ebay or Craig's List for cheaper, having to deal with a seller, for under $350.
