I was wondering when they were going to finally do something like this. You know those cards that you get from Starbucks where you can get a free app or song? Well, it used to be a pain in the butt to type in all those digits. I was hoping they would eventually use a QR code or something. Once again, they exceeded my expectations and allowed you to just use your camera and it will detect the numbers. This only works on the codes that are in a little rectangle but it looks like most of them are like that now. Pretty cool. If you don't know how to redeem an app I will show it to you here. This should work just fine on either the iPad, the iPhone or even the iPod Touch. Notice below:

There are 3 ways that I know how I normally build my paid app database for free. Sometimes, even if I don't want the app right now but maybe will want it later when I get an iPad, I will still download the app.
First way is to go to the App Store. Every week they give away an app that you would normally have to pay for. This way you get a free app to add to your device. Sometimes these are really great, sometimes not. Depends on your preferences.
