Yes, it is confirmed. When you use the new updated app from Box You receive 50gb free. On one account that I already had 50gb they didn't give me another 50gb, but hey, that's ok. Download the app now to get your upgrade. I am starting to see many more cloud services offer more GB in storage. Things are looking up. Just make sure your things are secure. Don't just download any cloud service out there. Keep checking back for a list of cloud services available.

I'm not sure how long Google has been offering this but I just got an email saying that they back up unlimited photos at a little lower quality or you can choose to have full quality images up to 15gb. I'm kind of impressed. I wonder what the catch is.
I mean, this is Google we are talking about here. Are my pictures going to be safe and secure? Will they be sharing my pictures online for anyone to see just to build their database? Why are they offering it free? Unlimited and Free are very rarely two words that go together. What's the catch Google? I think I need to look over the privacy statement for Google before I would want to touch that. However, I use Apple Photo Stream or one of the cloud storages to put all my photos out there. A few cloud storage options for you are Dropbox, Box, and Copy. I hear that Box just updated some more users with 50GBs of storage. Cool! Coming soon, list of Cloud storage options.... <<< Previous Post Other Popular Topic: iPhone Tips I was wondering when they were going to finally do something like this. You know those cards that you get from Starbucks where you can get a free app or song? Well, it used to be a pain in the butt to type in all those digits. I was hoping they would eventually use a QR code or something. Once again, they exceeded my expectations and allowed you to just use your camera and it will detect the numbers. This only works on the codes that are in a little rectangle but it looks like most of them are like that now. Pretty cool. If you don't know how to redeem an app I will show it to you here. This should work just fine on either the iPad, the iPhone or even the iPod Touch. Notice below: First... Help Me Fly by Funtomic (2008) LTD This is another puzzle game that you will enjoy. This is free right now from the Starbucks app. I will post some pictures of the game because when I first looked at it, I had no idea what it would be like. Now that I tried it, I was happy I downloaded it. I am a sucker for puzzle games. If you would like to see the pictures (Spoiler Alert), I will also post some puzzles that I solved. It will be kind of like a walkthrough for Help Me Fly. You can see the solutions below. I will try to not spoil too much for you, only view what you want to view. The point of the game is to put blocks on the screen that will connect the battery to the toy airplane to make it fly. On the way you need to not only connect the battery, the toy plane, but also each star on the board. Definitely gets my mind going. Click see more to see the slide show of each level. Right now I have 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 up right now. More to come if you would like it. Here is the Help Me Fly Walkthrough for you: PAC-MAN by NAMCO BANDAI Games Here is a free classic that everyone should download just to have. A classic video game turned iPhone/iPad app. Do you remember the vintage game? Now it is here for FREE. Take advantage and download it today. Pretty good deal. You have one week from Tuesday to download this app. Don't let it slip away. The game from 1980 is now in 2014. Of course the free apps always have in-app purchase, or at least most of the time. This one you can play the classic one for free. Here are some screen shots... Scanner Pro by Readdle by Readdle Grab this app while it is still free from iTunes! This blows the scanner app that I download for free right out of the water. Why is this app so good? First, this app does something the other app does not do. It allows you to scan multiple documents into one. Scan a picture of two sheets and save it as one document. This is a great advantage since no one wants a huge document in single sheets. More... |
